Meet the Members:

Katie Gordon, President
Katie, Dixie’s Great Aunt, is also the mother of 2 teenage boys. She is a pre school teacher at a Montissori School.

Keri Cohen, Vice President
Keri was a driving force behind the creation of the fund. She possesses a master’s degree in social work, and has been working with children and families in
Lancaster and York Counties for the past 15 years

Jo Ann Dixon White, Secretary-Treasurer
Jo Ann, the mother of 2 children is also involved with the Francis J. Dixon Fund.
A fund created by her parents to provide funds for higher education and other endeavors.

Pierce Mackay, Board Member Emeritus
Pierce, possessing a M.S. in Public Administration from Cornell University is a licensed Hospital Administrator, and was a co-founder of Rehab Systems, a rehabilitation facility that specializes in Elder and Intermediate care in the Harrisburg, Pa area. Since his retirement he keeps busy as a member of several projects including:
Chairman, Homeland Harrisburg
Vice Chairman, Asbury Services

Billie Mackay, Board Member
Billie is a former teacher and Pierce’s wife. She comes from a long line of Teachers and is passionate about children’s issues. Both of her children are teachers as were relatives dating back over 120 years.

Clifford J. (Cliff) Spencer
Cliff is Dixie’s grandfather. He is a small business owner in Lancaster. Since Dixie’s death he has become an advocate for children. Along with his work with the board, he is involved in several other projects. These include pending legislation aimed at stiffer penalties for child homicide and a local child advocacy center.
